Forget the futuristic looking ASUS Eee Keyboard with it’s fancy wireless HDMI and 5-inch capacitive touch screen and grab some nostalgia - Commodore USA has announced the PC64, an exact replica of the original Commodore 64 keyboard (minus the grime and bits of food between the keys) but with Intel Atom netbook innards. Apparently brought back to life due to requests from Commodore fans worldwide.
On the inside it’s packing a pretty powerful netbook punch – A dual core Atom D525 processor, Nvidia ION 2 graphics, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, HDMI out, optical drive (CD/DVD or Blu-ray), DVI-D, 6x USB, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 6-in-1 card reader.
Excited? The keyboard will be arriving this holiday season for an unspecified price point.
