As we are waiting for the first dual core netbooks to hit the streets we’ve already uncovered a 11.6″ netbook by TimesPad. Its available in 3 versions the N455/N475 and a Dual Core N550 processor. Its also packing DDR3 RAM with an Nvidia N11M-PT1 graphics card that will support Optimus technology. Connectivity wise it looks like it will sport all the usual suspects audio jacks, 3 x USB 2.0 ports, VGA, 3-1 card reader and a HDMI port. The unit is also going to sport an impressive 12000mA/h battery that is reported to last 7-8 hours. Dimensions of this unit are 290mm x 203mm x28mm thickness at the battery side and will weigh 1.7Kg. Doesn’t look like its got bluetooth or 3G but supports WiFi and has an Ethernet port.

If you want to pick one of these up you’ll have to be prepared to pay $325-365 and want 500 pieces. I’d be down if I could just grab one!! If this netbook from an obscure Shenzhen manufacturer will ever make it to Western markets, only time will tell.
