We’ve seen a few photos of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7-inch Android tablet already and yesterday there was a short video of the tablet over in Australia. Today from China some really good close ups of Android 2.2 in action on this tablet!
The photos confirm Android 2.2 is on board as well as the model number being GT-P1000 while comments confirm a 1024 x 600 netbook equivalent resolution on the 7-inch display, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 3.2MP webcam, 3G and a thickness greater than Dell’s Streak tablet (this one evident from previous photos). The photographer also has his impressions of the tablet – it feels plasticky but lighter than the iPad and a preinstalled e-reader app is one of the best ever used.
Alright, I was going to get a Dell Streak but I think I might get this instead it pricing and unlock-ability is favourable.
