AMD’s Bobcat just got detailed today in some presentation slides. Bobcat will be the CPU that powers the upcoming first round Ontario Fusion processor that is scheduled to hit in early 2011 next year for low powered portable devices such as netbooks and ultra thin notebooks.
Bobcat boasts 90% of today’s mainstream performance bundled up into a package that’s less than 50% the size of current offerings with a sub 1 watt power core. Summary – Fusion will kick ass.
