Update: Amazon UK has two models up for pre-order. Non 3G model is 249 pounds, 3G model is 299 pounds. Shipping date says 1-2 months however but it would be arriving much sooner than that.
With the Toshiba AC100 smartbook going on sale at the end of this week in Japan (if delays don’t hit) and Toshiba UK getting their AC100 product page up, it should be no surprise that we will start seeing the smartbook up for pre-order in some places like at this store in Germany, priced at 369 euros with a delivery date of within 4 weeks.
It’s going to be an interesting to be how consumers react to this device. There are concerns over the high price tag and the usability of Android on a netbook with a non-touch interface.
