LG X13Pictures of LG’s next netbook have ended up on the FCC website. Accompanying the pictures was also a pair of manuals and it looks like LG is getting ready to drop the zero in its model names, as at least according to the documentation, this model will be known as the X13 (rather than X130).

The X13 is stylish enough, but it doesn’t really stand out from the crowd in any particular way. The specs aren’t out as yet, but judging by the pictures of the internal components it’ll have an Atom N270 or N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB 2.5-inch SATA hard drive, a 10.1-inch display, 802.11b/g/n WiFi (according to the FCC tests at least), Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, a memory card reader, two audio jacks and a D-sub connector.

However, there’s a mystery module inside the X13 that the FCC didn’t test, but we managed to dig up an additional picture which describes this as a WWAN module. This could be either a 3G/HSPDA module, although the paper work submitted by LG to the FCC is stating that this isn’t a 3G module which makes us thing that it might be a WiMAX module or possible a WiBRO module for the Korean market.

Time will tell, but we don’t think LG is going to be selling these by the boat load, despite a slightly updated design there just isn’t enough to make people go for the X13 over the X120 which is LG’s previous model.
