Joanna over at Engadget has gotten her hot little hands on some CVS Fall flyers and they seem to indicate you’ll be able to pick up your legal drugs and a $100 Sylvania netbook. We don’t have many details but we do know its running Windows CE and will be great for email, websurfing, social networking and Streaming Video/YouTube. I seriously doubt this 7 inch netbook will stand up to that claim but maybe they are banking that the only video you’ll be interested in playing is customized for your mobile phone. Hey, it would technically be true that your netbook would be streaming video.

Also in the scoop Joanna points out that along with the $100 Netbook you’ll be able to get your hands on a $178 e reader. The 7-inch LookBook e-reader after the break, but it will pack 512MB of storage space, a full keyboard and will have access to Kobo’s e-book store.

I have seen this netbook already in a CVS, it has 124 of RAM.
Hinges look to be made cheap to me, kinda like the cheap portable DVD players Target sold a few years ago.

    It’s all true! But it’s really slow…
Still it works a lot better than the $99 iPad…

I bought one for my daughter, but it doesn’t connect to the internet well. I have seen a lot of reviews stating the same. Also, Digital Gadgets does not return calls in the 24 hours that they state they will or answer emails. I guess I got what I paid for.

If the specs you find include a hard drive, you are looking at the wrong specs. There is no hard drive.

Tried it twice. Will not work with ATT wifii. Windows too old. Tech could not help me and Slyvannia would not return calls for help. Yes the # that came with the device you had to call and leave a message. I called for 2 weeks and got nothing.
