Acer Ferrari Dock

Remember the Acer Ferrari One 11.6-inch netbook / notebook? Remember that there was supposed to be a dock you could connect to it’s rather uncommon ATI XGP port to super charge the graphics performance? That was late last year and a couple of months ago we heard from an Acer rep that they weren’t quite fond of the “user experience” it provides but it would eventually make it to market. Well, today, this dock, called the DynaVivid Graphics Dock, is now in stock and selling.. in France for 199 euros. ($259).

No word on if this’ll make it to other countries. If you have faith that it’ll come to an online store near you, well go on ahead and snatch up an Acer Ferrari One to go along with it.

I was really very disappointed with my Acer Ferrari One
notebook. In less than 2 months of using it, I have it checked to the
dealer. It wasn’t working they way it should. The dealer replaced the
unit with a new one. After using the new unit for about 3 months, it
bugged down. Went again to the dealer. They told me there was a problem
with the hard drive and will have to wait for a month or so for the hard
drive to be delivered. I wish I could just returned it and have my
    money back. Bad investment!

The name was a mystery. Many press reports have referred to a “new
Dino,” but the California is a different design concept from the
beloved two-seat V6 sports car of 1967-73, named for Enzo Ferrari’s
son, so Maranello might have been reluctant to resurrect such a revered
