Cross your fingers folks as we might be seeing a notebook from Apple that is less than 13.3 inches in size.
Rumor has it that Apple will be refreshing their 13.3 inch MacBook Air – dropping the cost below the current $1,499 and making it more mainstream, shrinking the size down to 11.6 inches and replacing the guts with Intel’s latest Core i processors. If they were to use Intel Core i processors there’s the issue of what graphics could be used – Nvidia licensing prevents use of some integrated graphics chips with recent Intel processors.
This is one of the two MacBook Air SKUs rumoured to arrive in September.
