Google’s own CEO Eric Schmidt told CNN that the first Chrome OS devices will be arriving this year. They will be powered by ARM or Intel processors and will have a keyboard by there would be no local storage. It will be entirely cloud based, which is really no surprise considering google services are cloud based.

“People who believe in cloud computing, believe in the benefits of Web computing and who are Chrome users will be the target market,” he said. “It’s probably a large market.”
