Although the Sharp Mebius NJ70A isn’t available outside of Asia as yet, at least not in retail, that secondary 4-inch touch screen (which is also used as the touch pad) sure looks sweet, but UMPC Fever has uncovered some more interesting details about it.

Although the 854×480 resolution might not seem that fantastic at first, it’s higher than that on many Smartphones. What UMPC Fever managed to dig out was the fact that the secondary screen has its own processor and memory. This opens up a lot of potential for future mods for those that are into that.

The NJ70A also has two memory slots which is unusual for a netbook, although it’s no point getting too excited here, as it seems like only Windows Vista works with more than 2GB of memory and even so, it is limited to 3GB.

UMPC Fever shot a video of the system running three different operating systems and they’re covering a lot of details, but as it is in Cantonese, it’s not that easy to understand what’s going on, despite the helpful English subtitles at various parts of the video.
