Google and Amazon both offer their 7-inch tablets for the bargain price of just $200. But now the Kindle Fire seems a bit outdated and completely outreached by the new Nexus 7 from Google and ASUS. Sascha has dared to compare the Kindle Fire to the Nexus 7 even though some may say a comparison between the devices is a little unfair. With its double-core TI OMAP 4430 processor running at  1.0 GHz, a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and a highly customized version of Android 2.3 “Gingerbread”, the Kindle Fire is a very different tablet. The Nexus 7 with its quad core Nvidia Tegra 3, 1280 × 800 pixel resolution and the brand spanking new Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” is a big Revolution in a tiny package.
