Slowly but surely, more and more details about the newest smartphone from HTC are coming to the surface. It now seems clear that the device will be equipped with a 5-inch full HD resolution display, hence the code name “Endeavor”.  So far the smartphone is being touted as the successor to the HTC One X and is for now, called the “HTC Endeavour C2″. The writers at Stuff.tv got the scoop from a “trusted source at HTC.”

The Endeavour C2 will reportedly carry a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, which could be from Qualcomm. Furthermore, a better battery is much talked about and perhaps a new color scheme. The new smartphone is reportedly compatible with the accessory products for the One X, so the devices could be quite similar in design. HTC integrated software including the Clear Voice technology to improve call quality. In addition, the C2 will be the first model in which the enhanced video-on-demand service HTC Watch is supported.

The initial information on pricing has been vague and basically not worth mention. As far as the launch date goes, the estimate is sometime in October 2012.
