In case the first keyboard-tablet-cover for the Surface tablet wasn’t cool enough for you, Microsoft has created another option: the wedge keyboard. The mobile wedge keyboard has bluetooth and its case doubles as a stand for the tablet. In addition, they’ve designed a little mouse that resembles a wedge of cheese.

Let’s start with the keyboard. Its rubber case is durable and sturdy with just enough flexibility that it makes a good tablet stand. Placing the cover on the keyboard tells the keyboard to turn off and thus, saves you a few AAA batteries. The keyboard itself angles gently upwards at what looks to be a comfortable position for typing. It also has a few hotkeys specific to Windows 8 including the Charms Bar, but it still works with Windows 7, RT and even Mac OS X.

The cute little wedge mouse is bluetooth as well and has BlueTrack technology. It runs on one AA battery and shuts down in sync with whatever device it’s connected to.

Both the keyboard and the mouse will be coming very soon for $79.95 and $69.95 respectively. Check out the photo gallery below!
