In all likelihood Samsung will be showing off its Galaxy Note 2 at IFA in Berlin. The closer we get to the event, the more information that is leaked about the infamous smartphone. Speculation is ripe over size, specifications and the power of the device. Now suddenly, we may have some clarity bestowed upon us. A benchmark has just been discovered in the GL Benchmark Database.
From the benchmark, it looks like the Galaxy Note 2 will be packing the punch of the Exynos 4412 quad core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. It will also have the Mali 400 GPU. The display will have a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and the smartphone will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Although the name Galaxy Note 2 isn’t mentioned, it’s code name GT-N7100 is remarkably close to that of the first Galaxy Note, GT-N7000.
It’s super exciting to see these benchmarks, but very astute readers of Netbooknews already will have guessed as much. In April, Sascha suggested the the Galaxy Note 2 would have the Exynos 4412 quad core on board:
