The Korean smartphone maker Pantech announced the Vega S5, a new 5 inch model that should be arriving in stores this month. The device has a LCD 1280 x 720 pixel resolution display and runs Qualcomm’s dual core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor with an LTE modum at 1.5 GHz. The same chip appears in the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S3. Pantech is boasting that the Vega S5 has a “zero bezel” and is virtually all screen.

The smartphone also comes with a 13 megapixel camera (umm wow) which will take some pretty insane pictures at 4192×3104 megapixels. The Vega S5 has 1 GB DDR2-RAM, 16 GB flash memory, Wi-Fi and a 2100mAh battery which will allow up to 11 hours speaking time with LTE. It will be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich. The only bad news is that this smartphone with its wunderkind camera probably won’t make its way out of Korea.
