The Nexus 7 tablet has just landed and while we are still trying to figure out what this means for the market there is already talk about a 10 inch version. Digitimes (yes, I know that doesn’t mean much) has learned from sources in the supply chain that the Google has already ordered 10-inch displays.
Apparently AU Optronics and Wintek are going to provide the 10-inch panels to Google, Wintek being the primary supplier of the display’s of the Nexus 7. The company shipped ,000 units of one glass solution (OGS) touch panels for the Google Nexus 7 this month, totaling OGS shipments topping one million units during May-July. If that’s true, then it means Google plans to sell quite a few Google Nexus 7 units in the following months.
We think that there is a 10 inch edition in the works, what about you?
