Qualcomm is really trying to step up their gaming quality in terms of graphics and smoothness of play. Virtua Tennis Challenge has been billed as “the most realistic” tennis game by Qualcomm and Sony. Today at Uplinq we got a demonstration of how the game will look and feel on the soon-to-be-released Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 processor. The goal is to improve the graphics so that gaming on smartphones and tablets will be comparable to playing on a system at home. The Adreno 320 GPU will have a huge hand in engineering Qualcomm’s success in gaming. It’s a smart move given that around 60 % of apps downloaded are games.
