Remember the MK802 Android mini-PC with its Allwinner A10 ARM Cortex-A8 CPU? It’s the PC on a stick running Android and it’s aimed at use with TVs as a low-cost multimedia player. Our good friend Charbax took a trip to Shenzhen and visited the production plant of this tiny computer to get an even closer look. What’s really interesting about it is, but not the MK802, but rather the conditions of the factory.
It’s clearly a small facility for a small computer, but its clear that in China health and safety aren’t at the top of the list, but having said that I’ve seen far worse on my many visits to China.
