The Samsung Galaxy S3 launched with two variations globally, the US version sports Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 because there are issues with the Exynos Quad supporting LTE. Since there it got the lesser processor it makes up for it with an extra gigabyte of RAM. In Europe and other areas the Galaxy S III launched with a quad-core Exynos processor but only 1GB of RAM.
It seems that the Koreans are getting a little extra and with 2GB of RAM and the Exynos 4 Quad processor. Seems only fair that they’ll give their home country a little bit more.
