Without much notice, the new Acer Iconia A210 and A110 appeared at Computex today. The A210 comes with Android 4.0.4 a Tegra 3 Quad-Core clocked at 1.2 GHz (instead of the previous Tegra 2) and 1GB RAM, 8 or 16GB Flash memory. The 10.1 inch display has a 1280 × 800 resolution, a port for connection to a headset, 2 USB ports (one as a micro-USB) and a MicroSD card slot. The tablet has only one 2MP camera on the front side. Price and availability have not yet been determined, but one can assume that it will cost very much less than $400.
The A110 has been upgraded to Android 4.0.4 and the Tegra 3 Quad-Core at 1.2GHz has been added. 1GB RAM and 8GB flash memory are available and expandable via the MicroSD. The 7 inch display, like that of its predecessor, dissolves 1024 × 600 pixels. Price will be available in the second half of the year and will most likely be under $200.
