ASUS’ latest nettops – the Eee Box EB1012P and EB1015P (one with a DVD drive) are still not on sale but they at least have product pages up on ASUS’ global product pages.
As we’ve seen previously, both these nettops have different designs but share the same specs – dual core processors (Atom D510 on the EB1012P, D525 on the EB1501P), next generation Nvidia ION graphics and one USB 3.0 port for each (Blue tinged ports). Other specs include Gigabit LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, HDMI out, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium. Optional remote control, wired or wireless keyboard and mouse set.
The current models that have been on sale for quite a while already – the EB1501 and EB1012 have the same design but have the first generation ION and last generation dual core Atom N330 processors, and no USB 3.0 of course.
Still no word on when either of these will hit the streets.
