The Allwinner A10 processor, typically seen in Android tablets, is now making its way into netbooks. Shanzhaiben recently pointed out a new Android netbook from China equipped with the A10. This is the first time that we’ve seen this processor pop up in a Netbook as typically it usually appears in budget Shenzhen tablets. The AllWinner A10 is actually a pretty interesting CPU because it sports a Mali 400 GPU, which is the same graphics processor found in the Samsung Galaxy SII. We’ve actually got an article explaining the AllWinner line up of processors here, if you’re curious to know more.
The computer features 4 GB storage capacity, a 1.1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0. The 10 inch display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 and comes with Wi-Fi, ethernet as well as supporting HD playback and boasts a battery life of 5 hours. The mini netbook also comes with 3 USB ports, an SD card slot and headphone jacks.
It’s not the most beautiful netbook you’ll find on the market today and it may seem a little comical to see tablet apps on a computer, but it should come at a decent price. Shanzhaiben mentioned a price ofyuan or $79, but we don’t know if that dollar amount is retail or wholesale.
