Didn’t think that we would be seeing any new netbooks until August as per industry speculation but it looks like the ASUS 1016P is up for shipping on Amazon. Chris over at NetbookReviews tipped us off to this pricy business netbook coming to market. Its initial asking price appears to be $531.29, but it does come with 2Gb of DDR3 RAM and Windows 7 Professional which were bound to add a few bucks to the price. Other specs include Intel Atom N455 (1.66GHz), 320GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM) 10.1-Inch Matte 1024X600 WSVGA LED Display; 802.11 b/g/n; 10/100/1000 LAN; Bluetooth 3.0 and Up to 10 Hours of Battery Life.
