Looks like we at long last know what’s going on with the HP Slate. After seemingly dying, then coming back to life in the last few days, HP Personal Systems Group VP Todd Bradley has finally gone on the record to let us know what’s happening. Speaking at the Fortune Brainstorm Tech conference in Aspen, he announced that the Slate will be “more customer-specific than broadly deployed,”, and it would be launching for enterprise this autumn.
Whether this will be the end of the long running HP Slate saga is obviously still unknown, but it’s certainly nice to get some confirmation from someone in the know.
