The ASUS Eee Pad Slider is an interesting hybrid from ASUS as it integrates a keyboard into the tablet design. This Tegra 2 tablet has just received an OTA (Over The Air) update to the latest Android operating system Ice Cream Sandwich. The Slider SL101 sports a 10.1″ display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it’s display is not one of the most impressive ASUS has placed in a device as it only has a low 149ppi.

Ice Cream Sandwich has dramatically increased the Quadrant benchmark on Honeycomb it received a score of 1560 and with Android 4.0 its jumped up to 2368.

The update is available OTA now for US and Taiwanese devices, or alternatively you can grab it direct from the Asus website.
