Acer has announced the Aspire One 725 Netbook measuring 11.6 inches running the AMD C-60 CPU and an AMD Radeon HD 6290 GPU. The 1.2kg device is less than 25mm thick and measures 285mm wide and 201mm deep. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and a 320GB or 500GB hard disk and up to 4GB of DDR3 of RAM. This unit has multimedia in mind as it’s got both an HDMI port an Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit display allows for both HD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.
It will be available in Caribbean blue and Volcanic black and will be available from July in Italy from 359 euros, no word yet on when it will be available in the rest of Europe or the North America, but expect similar time lines.
