The Japanese company Toshiba who have come out with the D100 dual-screen tablet at their 25th Anniversary celebration in Tokyo. During a similar event in Australia Mark Whittard, Toshiba’s Managing Director showed off a prototype tablet but didn’t give any specifics. It is still busy working out the specific hardware details for the product, said Whittard.
According to him, the tablets are going to be offered with Windows 7 and or Android, what was not being made clear was whether it might be a dual-boot configuration. Or it could be two different models, Whittard made no comment confirming dual boot or separate systems. The company is aiming at launching at least one of these products in the September-October timeframe.
