Huawei Ascend P1 Measures 7.7mm Thick & Gets International Release Dates

The Huawei Ascend Quad D may be the handset that we’re all wait for, but at CES Huawei showed off a mid range phone that is a mere 7.7-millimeter thick.  The Ascend P1 has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel backside illuminated rear-facing camera, a 1.5 GHz TI OMAP 4460 dual-core processor and runs Android 4.0.

We finally have an international release date for the Ascend P1 and it looks like we’ll be seeing it hit the streets in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia followed by Latin America in June, and Europe sometime later in the summer.

We checked out this handset back at CES but we got spend some more time with it at IDF Beijing last week as well, as you can see from our hands-on video below, it has a are very vibrant, clear, and sharp display.
