Chinese manufacturer Hasee is still relatively unknown in this country, but they have been trying for some time to get a foothold in the German market. They are known for making really cheap TVs and other electronics including notebooks. So I guess it’s not surprising that they’ve taken leap into the Ultrabook game with a 14 inch device that we got to go hands on with at IDF Beijing 2012.

The unit comes with an Intel Core i3 processor and a 14-inch display and it comes with a mixture of a plastic and aluminum which goes in line with the 550€ expected price point. This is likely a prime example of the type of low end Ultrabook we can expect when they start rolling out over the next few months.
