Brad over at Liliputing spotted the Haier’s X220 10 inch convertible tablet at CES the folks at Wireless Goodness have spotted a listing for the Haier X220P at the FCC web site, we hadn’t heard of any plans to release this netvertible in the US but it looks like that might be changing. We actually got to do a hands on during CES, which was questionable, you check that out after the break.
According to the FCC filing, the X220P features a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel touchscreen display, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a 3G modem, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. The computer runs Windows XP or Linux. It has an Intel Atom processor, which one we are unsure, the model at CES was sporting the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor.
Wether or not this product will perform well will surly be a price point issue the hands on video we did at CES didn’t leave me impressed about the build quality. If you want to see me almost break it while doing the hands on, here is the video below.
