Vodafone has recently rolled out their LTE network in Hannover in Germany. We got to do a speed test using the Samsung Galaxy SII LTE edition. Vodafone Germany commercially launched LTE in rural areas in December last year using 800MHz frequencies it won at auction in May 2010, but it is now looking to deploy the 4G technology in metropolitan areas. The 4G technology will support download speeds of between 10Mbps and 30Mbps, with an entry-level package initially priced at around EUR30 (USD43) per month.
I have to admit, I want it…badly.
