Acer won’t be left out of the Olympic fan fare as they have released Olympic editions of their Acer Iconica Tab A700 & A510 tablets. They both are sporting a 10 inch form factor along side an Nvidia Tegra 3′s quad core processor and Anroid’s latest operating system Ice Cream Sandwich. The ICONIA TAB A510 & A700 have a 9800mAh battery they claim will last for up to 15 hours of HD video playback.

The only difference between the A510 and the A700 is that the A510 comes with a WXGA display at 1280 x 800 and the A700 has a 1080p display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 all packed into a brillant ISP display.

Acer is also including a slew of productivity apps like Acer Print, Polaris Office and noise cancelling to help with any video calls you need make.

If you like what you are seeing with the Olympic edition Acer has let us know that this is just the start of a series of products around the upcoming Olympic Games. So far there is no pricing available on the these tablets, but during the press event they clearly indicated that they saw the 12% growth in the wub 450Euro range of tablets. If I had to bet I would guess it would be in that range. Rough release dates were given with the Acer Iconia A510 being released at the end of March begining of April adn the A700 end of Q2 perhaps around the end of June.

Here is our hands on video with the Acer Iconia Tab A700, again it’s exactly the same apart from the display.
