While there were a few delays before, the Android 4.0 update for the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer will be available for US users starting tomorrow, Feb. 24.
ASUS outlined a few key changes in the Android 4.0 update on their website:
- Create folders in the Home Screen
- Quick launch of the camera from lock screen
- Additional screen capture method
- Additional browser functions
- Special camera effects and photo editing
- Swipe to close tasks or notifications
- Font size modification
- Other minor user interface changes
As always, users can manually check for availability of updates in the settings app under the “About Tablet” section. The update will start rolling out late tonight and throughout tomorrow, so keep an eye out! Your Eee Pad Transformer will feel like a brand new device afterwards.
