Rumors of the iPad 3 being launching at the end of March have been ramping up and The Next Web has gotten more information that supports this launch date.  Apparently Apple is working a warp speed trying to find iPad3 apps that would show case the new tablets capabilities.

Apple does have a ong history of hand-picking apps that show off the hardware during the iPad presentation. The iPad had Garage Band, iMovie and Photo Booth apps. In order to get ready for their launch date Apple will need to solicit demonstrations from many app developers and preparing demonstrations of those apps for the live event.

The Next Web has heard that the selection process is continuing at an increased rate as Apple looks to finalize the lineup for the iPad 3. There is also emphasis on graphics-oriented applications with high-definition assets, which appears to be in line with the new iPad 3 Retina Display.
