Joanna over at Engadget has gotten her hands on Pandigital’s Novel a 7-inch LCD based all plastic e-reader / tablet that demonstrates you get what you pay for $149. Its quality its top notch and it seems a bit heavy but does run Android 2.1 and an attractive UI although snappy would not be the word you would use to describe it. Surprisingly, the device did play a standard definition video smoothly and it has an accelerometer. Software wise it comes preloaded with the Barnes & Noble’s Android app and a skinned Android browser of some sort.
Joanna has shot a quick hands on video for your enjoyment below or if you wanted to see her complete photo gallery click here.
