Summer time usually doesn’t yield huge announcements but this one is note worthy, Intel is putting the finishing touches on the latest version for x86 based netbooks and tablets. What is exciting is that there will be coming out beased on Android 2.2 “Froyo. So far, Acer is the only manufacturer ever to release an x86 netbook with Android, the Android based Aspire D260 coming to the UK next month.The “atomization” of Android was reportedly not especially difficult, because Intel already Moblin, Meego & Co was able to gather diverse experience in Linux development.
