nDevil has gotten his hands on The Aspire One AO521 netbook for unboxing. It features an HD 10.1-inch CrystalBrite LED backlit display, AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor, ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics, 1GB DDR3 RAM, up to 250GB HDD, weighs about 2.75 pounds, Windows 7 Starter. Available in two patterned designs in black and brown.

Its on sale at Amazon for $349 which is a great deal for something with ATI graphics, the draw back is the battery life, you’ll only be seeing about 4Hr, the website say 5.5HR, but we think that 4HR would be with tweaked settings.

No software supports ATI hardware acceleration, yet. . .

I want to wait and see how GPU hardware acceleration comes into play. Word on the street is that ATI has more power, but with out software to go with the hardware, Nvidia is still the winner in my books.

This is a great question. Can we see a comparison to the HP mini 311? Since Optimus netbooks are still not quite out yet, I would think the 311 is the closest out there with similar battery life (perhaps a little more).
