Good things come to those who wait. This adage is clearly demonstrated by the really low prices for two of the hottest Android smartphones on the market right now, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX. Both have lots of buzz, and rightfully so. The Galaxy Nexus, is the first Ice Cream Sandwich phone. The DROID RAZR MAXX has an impressive 3300 mAh battery that allows it to last for days on a charge, even when using battery-draining features like GPS.

You would think that since both phones are still hype-worthy — especially the DROID RAZR MAXX, since it just came out — that prices would remain high to take advantage of demand. But not in this case. Amazon is offering both phones at these great prices, though remember this is for new Verizon customers, and of course, it requires a 2-year contract.

The Galaxy Nexus is still in stock, but the DROID RAZR MAXX is on backorder already, with a shipping estimate of 1 to 2 weeks. But it’s still an awesome price, so might as well take advantage of the offer while it’s available. If you can’t wait, it seems like Wirefly is offering the RAZR MAXX for $229.99 and may still have them in stock.
