Notion Ink has been busy as they’ve just announced plans for an Adam II tablet running a Texas Instrument OMAP 44xx processor with PowerVR SG5xx graphics running Android 4.0.
To remind you, the original Adam stole our hearts because it came to market with a Pixel Qi display which was sunlight readable and offered black and white capabilities to save power. It also was one of the first to offer Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor.
The Adam earned Notion Ink a special place in the hearts of the gadget enthusiat and the Adam II won’t be launching the small company from India into the main stream. However, they’ve got something pretty interesting going on with their up coming tablet. Notion Ink says the Adam II will have “Modular Based Software Architecture,” which will allow app developers to take advantage of the tablet’s hardware using the company’s development tools.
