Toshiba NB250

Toshiba is in my top picks when I give recommendations, I actually bought the NB205 for my Mom this Christmas. Its great news when I learned that Toshiba upgrading their Netbooks, we were able to snag some photos of the NB255/205 (EU Market/US Market) and there was actually a video on Laptop Magazine that was taken down. So for now the photo’s will have to do. So Toshiba is upgrading both their NB205 & NB305 to support DDR3 RAM with the new 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N455. That’s pretty much all that has changed on both models as they still come with Windows 7 Starter Edition, a 250GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a 6 cell battery.

Addressing the lower price point is the Toshiba Mini NB255 which is photographed here. The main difference between the 205 & 305 is that the plastic is less expensive and the keyboard is a slightly different design but apart from that its still got the same N455 CPU and DDR3 memory.

Both Toshiba Mini’s come in a 10.1 inch form factor with 1024 x 600 pixel displays. The new Toshiba NB305 will sell for $379 and NB255 will run you $299.
