The iPad 3 is on the way and production said to be in full swing.  The question remains when will it be released?  Typically, Apple releases products in the Spring, March/April release cycle, but there is a rumor that’s gaining momentum that the next generation tablet is going to hit the streets on Steve Jobs Birthday.

A new report from FocusTaiwan suggests Apple is pushing manufacturing deadlines in order to launch its new iPad by February 24th, 2012.  The rumor is based on the fact that Foxconn is reported to not be giving their employee’s Chinese New Year off to make the dead line.  To give you perspective, this is the Christmas and New Years of Asia and typically the only time off that many works are given off all year.  So it’s not surprise that they’ve been unable to keep the cat in the bag.
