Back in January the Dell Streak 7 Tablet emerged on the market and 11 months later its been officially discontinued. Just 4 months ago the vastly popular Dell Streak 5 was put to pasture.

In case you’ve already forgotten the Dell Streak 7 was one of the first on the market with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It failed to capture the hearts of the consumer with its low resolution of 800 x 480 pixel display and it shipped with Android 2.2 at a time Honeycomb was the flavor of the day.

If you’re kicking you’re self for not picking one up, you’ll still be able to find them from Dell until their stock runs dry. They will however come with Android 2.2 Froyo with the ability to upgrade to Android 3.2 Honeycomb. If you’re thinking, Ice Cream Sandwich, I would prepare for heart break unless you’re willing to get your hands dirty with an unofficial version that’s on the way.
