There is no doubt that 2011 was the year of the tablet and 2012 will herald the arrival of tablets that, in their 2nd generation, will be better iPad competitors. We had some interesting experiments with tablets like HP’s Touchpad, Notion Ink and RIM’s Playbook.
The Amaonz Kindle Fire newly on the market is set to disrupt the ecosystem with its low price. It’s going to be an interesting 2012 with Nvidia’s Tegra 3 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 chipsets both heading to devices in Q1 of 2012.
