The ViewSonic ViewPad 7x popped up back in May at Computex as the first 7-inch tablet to run Android 3.2 Honeycomb and we saw it again at IFA 2011 in Berlin. It was supposed to hit the streets at the end of September, but the Viewpad 7e, its less flashy cousin arrived in stead. Viewsonic Germany has apparently confirmed to TabletCommunity.de that the 7x will be available in early December for the Christmas season.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out this sleek UI that we recommend for any tablet especially ones running Android 2.2 so at least you’ll have a decent way to navigate around your tablet. The Viewpad 7x has a  7-inch 1024 x 600 display with Gorilla Glass, Nvidia Tegra 2, 2/5MP front and rear cameras, mini HDMI, microSD and HDMI ports.

Here is our hands on video where you can take a look at the tablet as well as the SPB Launcher.
