There were many victims to HP’s decision to put the brakes on WebOS and the latest product that will never see the light of day is HP’s 7-inch Touchpad Go tablet. Japanese site Palmjoy has posted a detailed analysis of the canceled tablet which includes its spec sheet which mostly confirms what we already knew. The tablet indeed has a 1024 x 768 7-inch display, 1.5GHz APQ8060 Snapdragon processor as well asfront and rear cameras. The main difference between the 7″ and 9.7″ is that the smaller cousin sports a 5 megapixels rear facing camera. The front camera remains 1.3-megapixel and apparently there are 3G WWAN, GPS, and Bluetooth radios on board which weren’t a surprise.

There are even more photo’s at Palmjoy if you just can’t get enough of WebOS …*cough Cheryl! One of the first things you’ll notice when you check it out is that its a lot thinner and that they’ve opted for a matte back rather then the glossy finger print magnet which is alot more Pre-esque.  The set up of the Go also suggests that its primary viewing mode would be in landscape since the physical button centered on the longer side.
