Today we get first look at MeeGo v1.0, this was previously released but minus the interface. To give you a run down the Linux Moblin core was integrated with Nokia’s Meamo and QT. The MeeGO API includes Qt 4.6 so the MeeGo SDK sports an integrated application development environment. Brad over at Liliputing has shot a quick walk through video, we already knew that Chrome was going to be used as a browser, and there is a Chromium label on the header when Chrome is launched. The biggest difference I noticed was that Chrome is usually known for its super thin bezzel, and there is a massive one on this release. There really isn’t anything new from the last video’s except for the fact that its not Intel showing it off, we get to actually take a closer look.
When you watch Brad’s walk through Meego is still using clutter rather then Qt and there don’t seem to be many major changes. But I recommend downloading it for your self and giving it a try here.
