Computex Netbooks are coming fast and furious, ECS has another exciting line-up that will probably never make it to the consumer shelves. Its actually pretty tragic dealing with ECS, they won’t want to show off netbooks throughout the year because they don’t want them to get any press as they are an OEM. They want to sell them to someone else to rebrand them. And of course that never happens because no one ever gets to see them! Its a sad mentality of an Era gone by. Quanta who manufactures Apple is more then excited to show off their products, when they have something they haven’t sold and are looking for a buyer, otherwise they are just as secretive. Since we have yet to see an ECS netbook hit the street, we think ECS should change their mentality.

Regardless, we are still excited to see the TL101-PC running Atom N280 1GB of Ram but its only running on a 3 cell battery and Wimax. There are going to be other new 10inch models the V10IS1 and V10IS2 all with Bluetooth, WiMAX and 3G HSUPA. There are also supposed to be the education focused netbook CMPC E11IS with a 160GB HDD or 32GB SSD, 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi and 3G and a 9 hour battery.

ECS is also looking at bringing out a CULV the T21 which will be 11.6 inches. Judging from the T101L we might be looking a some new innovative and slightly annoying features. You just have to watch the video to see what I’m talking about.
