Korean company Pantech has introduced a new smartphone the Vega LTE. What makes this phone different is that its front facing camera uses gestures that allow the user to operate the phone. The approach uses a software from an Israel’s Eyesight Mobile Technologies which we could see in other smartphones, tablets, netbooks or Notebooks.

The benefits of gesture control in the case of smartphones and other mobile devices is that they can be operated even when they are not in your hand. We’ve got a short clip for Pantech Vega LTE showing how the gesture recognition via front camera may just be helpful if you’re not able to touch your phone, either because their hands are dirty or wet, or you’re wearing in winter gloves you do not want to take off.
