AMD certainly didn’t want to focus on just one new Ultra mobile, at their Cannes even they had three, the Acer 521, 721 and the 1551 that we’ll be discussing here. This is another 11.6 inch model. In fact, it looks an awful lot like the Aspire 721 which we have pictured above. But the difference is that this model has an AMD Turion II Neo dual core processor and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics.

Like all the AMD models on display we are seeing 1366 x 768 screen resolution with full 1080p HD video playback. We’ll wait and see how the review units hold up once they hit the streets, but for now that’s the word. The Aspire 1551 comes with an HDMI port and WiFi. Bluetooth and 3G options are available and will run Windows 7 Home Premium.

*Update* We found a hands on video of the Acer 1551 please click here to have a look.
